This Python module returns a tzinfo object with the local timezone information.

Example of usage: 

   >>> from tzlocal import get_localzone
   >>> tz = get_localzone()
   >>> tz
   <DstTzInfo 'Europe/Warsaw' WMT+1:24:00 STD>
